JOB DESCRIPTION
o review, revise and draft legal documents and correspondence of various commercial contracts.
To liaise with the relevant department key person to ensure all legal processes are properly implemented including responding to inquiries on related legal process requirements.
To coordinate, prepare schedules and material for compliance training.
To evaluate/amend existing compliance rules, policies, and guide as required by local management, regional and HQ directives.
To support and advise on the latest regulatory requirements and compliance matters.
Any other ad-hoc task assigned by the Legal Manager.
REQUIREMENTS
Must possess at least Bachelor Degree in Law.
Minimum 3 years of working experience in legal practice or in-house counsel.
Experience in relevant legal areas such as company, corporate, commercial, and contract management.
Possess strong communication, analytical, drafting and presentation skills.
Able to work independently and has good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Knowledge of the law of other jurisdictions (Indonesia or Singapore) is an added advantage.
